As we know history repeats itself, so even though we have had some cool nights, summer will be here in all her glory and soon. Get out your calendar now and note all the summer activities that Tidewater has to offer.

A big Thank You extended to FirstService Management for sponsoring our first summer concert on Sunday, May 19!

Upcoming Events:

Friday, June 7 - Happy Hour at the Beach Cabana begins at 6 PM, with food being served at 6:30 PM, and ending at 8 PM. Bring a heavy appetizer or dessert, enough for 8 people to share, plus your own beverages. Ice, cups, plates and flatware will be provided.

Sunday, June 23 - Helen Ashby and her committee are planning the Pool Party, being called Caribbean Night at Tidewater. Live music will be provided by Tropical Jammers who will perform from 6-9 PM, and Mission BBQ will provide the food. There is a change of location this year to the Community Pool which will open for guests at 5:30 PM with dinner at 6 PM. Cost is $18 per person. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Please follow the Reservation Procedure below to sign up.

Sunday, July 7 - Tidewater’s second summer concert will be on Sunday, July 7, with Tonez band performing – this band performed at Tidewater’s 2018 New Year’s Eve party! Hotdogs will be served from 5-6 PM. The band will perform from 6–8 PM. This is a free event, and it is held on the horseshoe in front of the Amenity Center. Bring your own chair and beverages. Thanks goes to New Way Properties and TPCA Recreation Committee for sponsoring this event.

Sunday, August 18 - Tidewater’s third summer concert will be on Sunday, August 18 with the Paul Grimshaw Band performing. Subs will be served from 5-6 PM. The band will perform from 6-8 PM. This is a free event, and it is held on the horseshoe in front of the Amenity Center. Bring your own chair and beverages.

 

  

Reservation Procedure:

 

Please read below to sign up for an event!

 

YOUR CHECK IS YOUR REGISTRATION: To register for an event, place your check made out to ROTSC in an envelope. On the

 

outside of the envelope include the following: names of all people attending, your phone number and email address. Place the envelope

 

in the gold mail box at the Fitness Center by the advertised cutoff date. There will be a notice on the box if the event is full and a waiting

 

list will be established if necessary.

 

For events where reserved tables are available, payments for a full table of 10 must be included in one envelope. If you are not part of a

 

reserved table, you will be assigned to a table with others. If you are out of town, you may mail your check and information to the

Summer Fun

Join Audrey Poole and Judy Keyes in another fun Ice Dying Project. You will make a beautiful silk scarf with Audrey and Judy in a very easy project. Class will be from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the Amenity Center on Monday, June 17. They will provide the scarves, ice, and dyes. Cost is $15 and class size will be limited to 20 people.  Sea Glass Workshop

Join the Fourth Annual Sea Glass Workshop on Monday, June 24 at the Amenity Center beginning at 12:30 PM. Marylou Convery and Marilyn Drange will demonstrate ideas incorporating treasures tumbled by the ocean into a beautiful sea glass wave in a regular picture frame with a glass background.
